Welcome to Sweet & Hot 2012!

Can you believe it's already been a whole year?  We were simply blown away by the enthusiasm and positive response from Sweet & Hot last year.  We thank you all for giving us the courage and energy to keep this little swing dance event company going for an entire year. And now for round two...

For this years line up we are proud to announce the return of the amazing, fantastic, super-rific, champion Lindy Hop living greats....Todd Yannacone (USA) and Ramona Staffeld (USA-OZ)!

However this year we've added a second track!  In addition to the Lindy Hop awesomeness of last year, we are very proud to announce that we've got two amazing and accomplished Balboa enthusiasts to get our shuffles into gear....Kenny Nelson and Heather Ballew (USA)!

Our focus is still mainly on workshops, but after the rockin' good time we had at the Saturday Night dance last year at the Bella Union Bar, this year we are stepping it up and hosting the Sweet & Hot Jazz Joust!  That's right, it takes two to joust, so we will be having TWO LIVE BANDS in a larger but equally vintage and awesome venue, The Thornbury Theatre.  Expect to swing out to the sweet Big Band (TBA) and cut a rug to the hot gypsy jazz tunes of Duck Musique!

We invite you from all over Oceania...to rock out with us at this very special union of Lindy and Balboa with a line-up of some of our very favourite dancers from around the world.

We thank you from the bottom of our rock steps and can't wait for March! <3
